Cindy Chen - Scarlet Cheek magazine

Cindy Chen, Photographer and Publisher, is the creator of the Scarlet cheek magazine. Scarlet cheek is a publication that looks at a particular Chinese city each issue, photo-journalistic in approach, the magazine explores the depths of the city that no other magazine does. Cindy was working in Chongqin, which is the capital city for the Sichuan province for a few weeks in April/May this year. When the core of the magazine was complete, she left the area to return to the UK to finish off the final bits of the magazine on 12th May 2008. When she returned to the UK and saw the news. She found that Sichuan province that she had just came from, had been disastrously destroyed by an Earthquake with the magnitude of 7.9. with the death toll soaring and many seriously injured.

From this, she has decided to donate proceeds of this particular issue to the help the victims of the Earthquake.
